Flyteam is based at both Cranfield Airport and Elstree Aerodrome:
Cranfield
Cranfield Airport is situated between the towns of Bedford and Milton Keynes, just two miles from junction 13 of the M1 Motorway, giving easy access to London, which is approximately a forty five-minute drive away.
Cranfield Airport itself is a busy general aviation aerodrome situated in class G airspace, providing excellent facilities for training including VOR, NDB, ILS and VDF letdown procedures. Full Air Traffic Control (Tower and Approach Control) is provided seven days a week, during published Airport operating hours.
Elstree
Elstree is a busy general aviation airfield operated by the Montclare Shipping Company Ltd. Around 120 aircraft - some privately owned - are based at the 70-acre site, which has a 656 metre hard runway.
