At Flyteam we have been training pilots for almost 20 years, during which time hundreds of students have gained their PPL with us. We also offer a range of further courses including IMC and Multi-Engine rating, as well as self-fly hire.
Many have enjoyed learning to fly with us so much that they have gone on further to become qualified commercial pilots.
We have excellent training facilities and our highly professional, experienced instructors will help you achieve your ambitions.
Our flying school has operations centres at both Elstree Aerodrome and Cranfield Airport. Cranfield is a larger licensed airport with excellent facilities such as longer Dual Runways, full Air Traffic Control, navigational aids and landing aids.
Flight training is undertaken at both locations, and we also have a variety of aircraft available for self-fly hire at Elstree.
Trial Flying Lessons - from just £85
An experience not to be missed - your chance to take the controls and fly one of our Piper aircraft! A trial flying lesson makes a fantastic gift for family and friends. Why not treat yourself - you can even bring along a friend to share the experience with you.
On completion of the flight you will be presented with a certificate detailing your achievement - the introductory lesson also counts towards your Private Pilot's Licence training should you decide to continue. See our Trial Flight information for further details and to book.
Our flying club has members from vastly different backgrounds with a multitude of experience. At one time we had both the youngest registered PPL pilot in the UK and the oldest registered female PPL pilot in the UK on our books!
